New Security Measures will be put into place on January 3, 2017. Everyone will have to enter the courthouse through the Sheriff's Office entrance and will be subject to a metal detector.
Functions of the Office
The Sheriff of Woodford County has a variety of responsibilities that generally fall into 4 categories:
- tax collection
- election duties
- service to Courts, and
- law enforcement.
