- On September 23, 2025, the Woodford County Fiscal Court approved an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement to with the City of Frankfort for sewer services in the approved areas of Millville.
Young and New Farmer Grant Program FY 2025-2026
On March 10, 2026, at the recommendation of Judge/Executive James Kay, the Woodford County Fiscal Court approved Resolution No. 2026-06 creating the Young & New Farmer Grant Program for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. The Young & New Farmer Grant Program aims to offer financial assistance to young and new farmers establishing or expanding their agricultural operations within Woodford County.
Applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2026.
Resolution 2026-06 provides guidelines and criteria for the program.
Veterans' License Plate Program
The Woodford County Fiscal Court is proud to announce the creation of the Woodford County Veterans’ License Plate Program, a new initiative designed to help our local veterans cover the cost of their specialty license plates.
This program was made possible through a partnership between the Woodford County Veterans’ Commission, the Woodford County Clerk’s Office, and American Legion Post 67, which generously donated $2,000 to kickstart the fund. The county will provide matching support to ensure that eligible Woodford County veterans can receive their veteran-related plates at no cost.
Veterans with an honorable discharge who reside in Woodford County can participate by working directly with the Woodford County Clerk’s Office.
