OPEN BY APPOINTMENT AND SCHEDULED COURT APPEARANCES.
The office is closed to in-service walk-ins at this time. However, you may schedule an appointment, send in filings by mail, e-Filing or using the drop box provided outside of the Courthouse Annex Building. For payments of fines or restitutions you may mail in, use drop box or call our office to make a payment over the phone. (859-873-3711)

COURT ATTENDANCE: If you have a scheduled Court appearance, please call the office at 859-873-3711 for instructions. You will be required to attend in person, unless other telephonic/video arrangements have been made. If you are required to attend, social distancing and wearing of masks will be required.
Limited Services for DL are available at this time.
Individuals with a Driver's License, Permit or ID card that expired or was lost between March 1, 2019 – February 28, 2021 and wish to obtain a renewal or reissuance must apply through a remote application process. You may pick up a form outside of our building during office hours, or you may go to the website: www.kycourts.gov
. There you will scroll down the page until you locate the Driver's License information and you will see form TC94-192
. You may send in your completed form by first class mail or use the drop box located on the front of the Courthouse Annex Building. Options of payment are listed on the form. There will be a small processing fee when paying by debit/credit card. It will take five to seven days to receive your credential by mail once your application has been processed.
Individuals with a with a DL, Permit or ID card expired or lost before March 1st, 2020, you must apply by making an in-person appointment with the Clerk's Office (859-873-3711).
Those changing an address within county, transferring from another county or state will need to call the Clerk’s Office for an appointment (859-873-3711).
If you would like to obtain the Real ID for travel purposes, you will need to schedule an appointment with the Department of Transportation Regional Office located in Frankfort or Lexington. Remember to check the listing of documents required to take with you on their website. https://drive.ky.gov/confidentky

Permit Testing has resumed with Kentucky State Police for Woodford County residents only.
*First, you will need to call the Circuit Clerk’s Office (859-873-3711) to schedule an appointment to process your application for testing.
*Second, you will need to go on-line to schedule an appointment with KSP for the actual testing. Link to schedule your test is: www.kentuckystatepolice.org
Click on Drivers Testing Services and scroll down to the yellow bar “Written Testing” then select Woodford County. (Testing will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week at the Regional Driver Licensing Office located at 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Ky.)
*Thirdly, upon passing your written test, you will need to schedule another appointment with the Circuit Clerk (859-873-3711) for issuance of your permit.
*You will need to schedule your appointment from our online scheduling tool found at the following link: www.kentuckystatepolice.org
Click on Drivers Testing Services and scroll down to the orange bar “Road Testing” then select Woodford County.
*Road Testing will be given each Tuesday. KSP will update available dates in two week sessions.
