Responsible for the coordination of efforts between all emergency response departments, the Disaster & Emergency Management division is located in the basement of the County Courthouse.  Office hours vary during the year, but staff can always be reached in an emergency by calling 911 or the Versailles Police Department at (859) 873-3126.

Attention Residents

of Woodford County, Versailles and Midway:

Residents are encouraged by March 10th to move their limbs and brush from the January Ice Storm, to the right of way, the space between the sidewalk and the road in front of their house, making sure NOT to impede the roadway.Length of limbs/brush should not exceed six feet.

Residents can still take their Limbs and brush to the Recycling Center for free thru Tuesday March 10^th.On Wednesday March 11^th the Woodford County Recycling Center will Resume their regular work schedule and charges for the disposal of Limbs and Brush.
